PAUSE ("PAUSE," "we," "us") provides a stress-management and decision-support mobile app. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions? Email support@pauseplease.ai.

Information we collect

Account information — your email address, created when you sign up or use Sign in with Apple. If you use Apple's private-relay email, we receive only that relay address.
What you write — the situations and facts you enter to receive guidance.
Subscription information — your plan and status. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card number.
Usage data — limited app and session counts used to operate features (such as free-response limits) and improve reliability.
Device data — basic technical information (such as app version and operating system) needed to run and debug the service.

How we use your information

To provide the service; to generate your Strategy, Facts, and Plan; to manage your account and subscription; to enforce usage limits; to maintain security; and to communicate with you about the service.

AI processing

To generate guidance, the text you enter is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic (Claude), for real-time processing. This input is not used to train models and is processed transiently to return your response.

Service providers we share with

We share information only as needed to operate the service:

Supabase — account, authentication, and database
Anthropic — AI generation of your guidance
Stripe — subscription payments
Apple — Sign in with Apple and App Store delivery
Railway — backend hosting
Google Cloud Text-to-Speech — optional audio readback (Pro)

We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention and deletion

We keep account data while your account is active. You can delete your account in-app (which removes your account data) or email support@pauseplease.ai to request deletion. Saved sessions on Plus and Pro are stored on your device and are removed when you delete them or uninstall the app.

Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

PAUSE is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. To make a request, contact support@pauseplease.ai.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice in-app or by email.
